Police are appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated assault in Lowestoft.
The incident occurred at approximately 7.55pm on Wednesday 5 February in Station Square.
The victim – an 18-year-old man – was walking along the road with two friends, when they were surrounded by a group of young people who removed his hat, hit him in the face and racially abused him.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lowestoft Response Investigation Team, quoting reference: 37/6793/25.
