Halesworth Volunteers has celebrated its 40th anniversary, with Waveney Valley MP Adrian Ramsay joining a community lunch to mark the milestone.
During the visit, Mr Ramsay praised the charity's work supporting people across Halesworth and the surrounding area.
He highlighted a number of the organisation's initiatives, including the Community Larder, befriending services and the Community Car Scheme, saying they make a significant difference to local people.
Mr Ramsay congratulated everyone involved with Halesworth Volunteers on reaching its 40th anniversary and thanked volunteers for their continued commitment to supporting the community.
The charity has been providing practical help and community services in Halesworth for four decades, with its work continuing to support residents through a range of volunteer-led initiatives.
