A shed fire and thick smoke led to the closure of Bridge Road in Oulton Broad - and was seen from across the aeaa including Everitt's Park area.
The incident was reported at around 7.35pm Friday (7th August), with witnesses reporting a fire believed to involve a shed between Smith's Timber Merchants and St Marks' church.
Black smoke was visible from the Everitt Park and many other areas as the incident developed.
At this stage, there are no confirmed details about the cause of the fire, whether anyone has been injured or the extent of any damage.
The road was reopened later Friday evening.
