Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision that took place near Beccles.
Officers were called to the junction of the A145 and Cucumber Lane in Beccles at around 3.30pm on Monday (12th August) to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision, involving a white Ford transit van and a black Yamaha motorcycle.
Sadly, as a result of the collision, the man riding the motorcycle, aged in his 50s, died from injuries they sustained.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene and conducted the initial investigation and reopened at about 10.45pm.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact the Joint Norfolk & Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Stowmarket, quoting reference CAD 233 of 12th August 2024.
