A vehicle has been seized by Suffolk Police after it was stopped on the A12 between Wangford and Frostenden.
The Suffolk Police Community Policing Team stopped the vehicle because of the manner of driving.
Roadside checks found the driver held only a provisional driving licence. Police say the driver was unaccompanied and the vehicle was not displaying the required L plates, meaning the conditions of the licence were not being met.
The vehicle was subsequently seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act, and police say the driver will be dealt with for the driving offences.
Suffolk Police also reminded motorists that community policing and response teams patrol local roads alongside specialist Roads and Armed Policing Team officers, taking action where offences are identified.
