Topcats charity in Lowestoft is celebrating after winning at Lowestoft in Bloom for the third year running.
The charity has received a Gold Award for Best Community Project, as well as an additional award recognising the creative and imaginative way its young people interpreted this year’s theme.
The gardening group chose a World Cup theme for its 2026 display, creating flower-covered football pitches and decorating the TOPCATS building with flags from around the world.
Young people attending Topcats were involved in the project, helping with watering, weeding and planting while learning about different countries and flags. Topcats supports young people and adults with additional needs from birth to 30 and provides opportunities to develop social independence and life skills.
The charity says the latest success is particularly special because its young people have been involved throughout the project, alongside staff and the gardening group.
