A dedicated group of parents and staff who are raising much needed funds for a school in Carlton Colville, received a huge financial boost on Tuesday (30th November 2021). The Warren School’s “special playground for a special school” project, received £50,000 of funding as part of the Building Futures scheme - run by Persimmon Homes and in conjunction with the British Olympic Association. The funding will go towards money already raised by the Warren Association and towards the building of a brand new specialised outdoor playground. The Building Futures scheme aims to support children in health, sport, education and arts.

After launching their appeal, a dedicated group of parents and staff who are celebrating the opening of a brand new playground at the Warren School in Carlton Colville. Now - their dream of building “a special playground for special school” has become a reality. The Warren Association successfully raised nearly two hundred thousand pounds to build a new purpose built, all inclusive, multi-sensory play area at the school on Clarke’s Road.
