Since 1941, the Royal Air Force Air Cadets has provided young people with training and activities that offer challenge, excitement, and adventure. Formed in that very first year, the squadron has continued to play an active role in developing confidence, skills, and opportunities for generations of cadets.
Aims of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets

To promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force among young people.

To provide training that is valuable both in the Armed Services and in civilian life.

To encourage a spirit of adventure while developing leadership skills and the qualities of good citizenship.
