Suffolk Police says as part of 'Operation Wraxall' they will respond to concerns about off-road motorbikes, quad bikes and high-powered battery e-bikes and scooters in Lowestoft and the surrounding area.
Police say local residents have reported dangerous riding, anti-social behaviour and concerns about public safety.
The operation aims to tackle those responsible, reduce the risk of serious injury and improve safety and confidence within local communities.
Suffolk Constabulary says vehicles may be seized and destroyed if they are being used dangerously or are connected to illegal e-bikes.
Residents are being encouraged to report anything they see or hear relating to dangerous or anti-social use of off-road bikes, quad bikes and e-bikes. Police say even information that appears insignificant could help build a clearer picture of the problem, identify those responsible and support ongoing investigations.
People can share information, pictures and videos by emailing opwraxall@suffolk.police.uk, through the Suffolk Police website, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
