Free photography exhibition set for Beccles with public voting

A free photography exhibition is coming to Beccles, giving visitors the chance to enjoy amateur photography and help choose the winning images.

The U3A Digital Photography Group will hold the exhibition at Hungate Church on Hungate Lane. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome.

The exhibition will feature photographs in four categories: Human World, Natural World, Monochrome and Close-up.

Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite image in each category, while a professional photographer will also judge the entries. Organisers say it will be interesting to see whether the public's choices match the professional's decisions.

Refreshments will be available throughout the event, along with raffle prizes and members' prints for sale.

The exhibition is organised by the U3A Digital Photography Group, whose members are amateur photographers with an interest in developing their skills and sharing their work.

U3A is aimed at people who are retired or semi-retired, offering a wide range of activities and hobbies. Organisers hope the exhibition will encourage more people to come along, enjoy the photographs and learn more about the group.
