Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision between Bungay and Harleston at Wortwell.
The collision happened on the A143 Bungay Road, at 10.25pm on Monday (20th January 2025), when a white Seat Ibiza collided with a black Mercedes-Benz EQA.
The driver of the Seat, a man aged in his 20s, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a man aged in his 40s, was airlifted to Addenbrookes in a life-threatening condition.
A full road closure was in place to allow emergency services attended the scene including fire and ambulance. The road reopened at around 12.40pm on Tuesday (21st January 2025).
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the incident. Anyone with any information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to get in touch with the police.
