East Suffolk football fan Ed Sheeran has been celebrating in Halesworth.

The global music star was in Chinney’s Bar this week - as he met up with the team of newly promoted Ipswich Town…who’ll now be in next season's Premier League.

Reports from people in the town on Wednesday said that the sports bar was ‘closed due to unforeseen circumstances’ - and later the players bus arrived.

Both players and the Suffolk singer posted videos of them enjoying the night - although whether the players will feature on Ed’s next album is, well, probably unlikely.
