Police are appealing for witnesses or information following a hate-motivated assault in Lowestoft.
The incident happened at around 10:10am on Thursday 21st August in London Road North, close to Lloyds Bank.
A woman reported being approached by a man who verbally abused her before spitting in her face, causing her to fall to the ground. She sustained cuts to her knee and shoulder.
The suspect is described as being a white man, mid-40s, around 6ft tall, wearing a navy long-sleeved top with a red stripe on the arm, denim jeans and navy Nike cap.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who may recognise the man from the description to come forward.
