East Suffolk marked the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine today - as a number of gatherings took place. Here at East Suffolk One - we joined the nation with a minutes silence at 11 o'clock. In Lowestoft, the Town Council raised the Ukrainian flag at noon above the Town Hall - and in Beccles the flag flies high on the town’s bell tower. Halesworth and Leiston are among other towns marking the day - and in Bungay this week - there have been Ukrainian singing and Ukrainian piano music, Borscht! Plus messages especially for the church recorded in Ukraine.
