Suffolk swimming sensation Will Ellard has been awarded a MBE as part of the New Years Honours.
News of the honour for services to swimming, rounds off what has been an amazing year for the teenager from Beccles.
Back in April, Will won four medals, including two golds in Maderia at the European Para-Swimming Championships.
He won two gold medals and a silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris in September.
Meanwhile, in December at the Swim England National Winter Championships in Sheffield, Will not only won two races - but in doing so he set new European and world records in the M.C. 200 metre backstroke and S14 200m Freestyle.
Later in December, he also made the short-list for TV's Young Sports Personality of the Year. Once again - congratulations Will!
Also on the Honors list was Chief Executive of Suffolk Rural Coffee Caravan - Ann Osborn who was awarded a British Empire Medal.
