Photo source: Royal Mail A well-known Suffolk landmark features on a set of new stamps unveiled by Royal Mail for 2021.The collection celebrates 70 years since the first of the UK’s National Parks was set up - and the Broads are represented by Herringfleet windpump, near Somerleyton. Herringfleet windpump dates from the 1830s and is the last of the old wooden pumping mills on the Broads in working order - and it can pump 2000 gallons of water a minute on a windy day. Other national parks included in the collection are Dartmoor, Snowdoinia and the Lake District.
