After being closed for more than a year, a busy Lowestoft road is open again.
For more than a year, The Ravine had been closed because it passed under the unsafe Jubilee Bridge…however, work on this is almost complete.
Traffic in the north of the town will be able to flow from Yarmouth Road to Whapload Road.
Roadwork signs removed from The Ravine from today (16th February). The opening of The Ravine follows a £1million overhaul - of the a historic Jubilee Bridge links North Parade to Belle Vue Park.
The bridge and its poor condition led to it being shut for more than a year - but is due to open later this month.]
