Halesworth Town Council is looking for a project leader to help renew the designs of the town’s bollards.
The designs in the Thoroughfare and the Market Place have been popular with local people for nearly 10 years - but the council is now looking for someone a leader to help with new designs.
Funding has been secured from East Suffolk District Council’s High Street Regeneration Fund and the Town Council has agreed to supplement this if needed. The money will pay for renovation, materials, and a local artist to help design and oversee the group of community artists who will undertake the painting. The next step is to develop ideas for possible designs.
If you have the creative skills to design and paint the bollards - for which a fee of around £30 per bollard will be paid - or want more details just contact: clerk@halesworthtowncouncil.org.uk - by Friday 29th September 2023.
