A man has died following a serious collision on the A12 in Wrentham.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 2.35pm this afternoon, Friday 25th August, to reports of a collision on the A12 London Road at the junction with Walker Gardens, involving a pedestrian and a DAF lorry.
The pedestrian – a man aged in his 60s – sadly died at the scene. The A12 was was closed for several hours before opening later in the day.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision, and are also asking any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
