A man has been attacked with a screwdriver in Halesworth.
The victim, aged in his 50s was left with puncture wounds and taken to hospital for further checks.
The incident happened on Wednesday 13th September at about 2.20pm where a man was assaulted during an argument in the Thoroughfare car Park close to Huggys Carshop & Cycle repairs. The victim, aged in his 50s, was injured with a screwdriver that caused small puncture wounds, with no blood loss. He was taken to hospital for a precautionary check up.
Officers investigating are keen to speak to a woman who they understand intervened in the dispute.
A man, aged in his late 50s, was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail, to answer on 12 November.
