Police are appealing for information after two burglaries were reported in Lowestoft.
Suffolk Police say homes on Conrad Road and Burnt Hill Road were both targeted during the same afternoon and evening. In each case, offenders forced doors to gain entry before carrying out an untidy search of the properties.
Jewellery was stolen from one of the homes, while officers say both addresses showed signs of disruption following the break-ins. The burglaries happened on Wednesday 14th January, between 1.15pm and 8.15pm.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in either area during that time, or who may have doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage that could help enquiries. Officers say even small details could prove important.
Residents in the area are also being reminded to check their home security and report anything unusual as soon as possible. Police patrols and follow-up enquiries are continuing as part of the investigation.
Suffolk Constabulary has shared home security advice online, including tips on securing doors and windows, using alarms and lighting, and reducing opportunities for burglars.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting the relevant crime reference number, or report anonymously through Crimestoppers.
