Police investigating a stabbing in Lowestoft have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Police investigating a stabbing in Lowestoft have charged a man in connection with the incident. Officers were called at just after 7.30pm on Monday 10th April to reports that a man had been stabbed in Minden Road.
The victim, aged 24, was taken to James Paget University Hospital for treatment and he has now been released from hospital.
An 18-year-old man from Lowestoft was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
18 year-old Jamie Deamer of Ethel Road in Lowestoft was charged with section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
