Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Lowestoft. On Thursday 10th December at approximately 5.05pm, a collision occurred between a black VW Golf and a bicycle on London Road South at the junction with The Avenue. The cyclist was taken to the James Paget Hospital with a serious leg injury and was transferred to Addenbrookes’ Hospital where he remains. The road was closed for a collision investigation to take place. Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision or anyone with any dash cam footage of the vehicles prior to the collision.
