Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Lowestoft - which occurred between 4pm and 6pm on Easter Saturday, within Lowestoft Cemetery in Normanston Drive. The victim – a woman aged in her 20s – was in the cemetery when a man approached and shouted at her. He then pulled her hair and pushed her before spitting on her as he walked away. The suspect is described as being white, aged in his 30s or 40s and had long, curly dark blond hair. He was wearing a red bandana, a checked shirt and jeans. He was also walking with a small brown dog. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of it should contact Suffolk police, by phoning 101 or contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
