A lorry fire caused disruption on Peto Way in Lowestoft after crews were called to tackle a blaze.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service responded quickly, bringing the fire under control and ensuring the driver and nearby road users were safe. No injuries have been reported.
The incident created noticeable congestion in nrth Lowestoft, with motorists experiencing delays while emergency teams worked at the scene.
People living or working close to the road were advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke drifting from the vehicle.
Highways teams are supporting efforts to fully reopen the route once the vehicle is recovered and the area is checked for safety. Traffic is expected to return to normal once this work is complete.
The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed, but the swift response from crews prevented further damage.
