Representatives of the armed forces, local groups, dignitaries, and residents came together to remember.
Members of the armed forces marched in front of the South Pier just before 11am on Sunday morning. Following the two minute silence dignatries and representatives of local organisations laid wreaths.
Lowestoft Mayor Nasima Begum was present and told us she thought it was 'Really great to see so many people. Nasima extended her thanks to those who worked hard to make it a successful event.
