Police are appealing for information after the theft of five calves from a field in Walberswick. The distinctive Highland Cattle calves were missed by the owner on 3rd February. There were no signs of escape from the field and local searches for the animals have been in vain.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour at about 4.30pm in The Street, behind the village hall, or who can assist the investigation in any way is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/7831/24.
