One of Halesworth’s most-loved community events is back — and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever.
The Halesworth Scarecrow Festival has returned, with more than 80 businesses and community groups taking part in this year’s magic-themed trail.
Trail forms will be available from Halesworth Library, Hetty’s Little Copy Shop in the Thoroughfare, and Halesworth Bookshop in the Market Place.
Participants can follow the trail around town, keeping an eye out for letters displayed in shop windows and filling them in on their trail sheet. Once completed, forms can be handed back to any of the three collection points — and there are cash prizes up for grabs for those who complete the challenge.
Organisers say the festival is a fantastic way to explore the town, discover local businesses, and bring the community together.

The Halesworth Scarecrow Festival now runs until 1st November, with entries open throughout the event.
