Halesworth Post Office Returns

Halesworth residents are being encouraged to support the return of a key town-centre service as the Post Office reopens at a new location.

The Post Office is now operating from the Old Court House on London Road, based within the Town Council offices. The reopening restores an important service for the community, providing local access to postal and everyday banking services.

The branch will be open weekdays from 9am to 5pm, making it accessible throughout the working day. Town representatives say the return of the Post Office is a positive step for the town, particularly for residents who rely on local services.

Adding to the sense of continuity, some of the staff will be familiar faces. They previously worked at the Post Office when it was based at Coopers, helping to provide reassurance and experience as the service resumes.

The reopening marks the first day of operation at the Old Court House location, and residents are being encouraged to call in and show their support as the Post Office settles back into town life.

The move is seen as a boost for Halesworth, bringing a well-used and valued service back into the heart of the community.
