A47 Reopened in Lowestoft
After a week of gridlocked traffic in Lowestoft and Oulton Broad - a busy road has been reopened.
Traffic delays of more than two hours to travel across Lowestoft had been reported, after a burst water pipe at the Waveney Road - Battery Green Road, Suffolk Road juction was shut for repairs.
Although Anglian Water had fixed the damaged sewer pipe - the scale of damge to the road meant it took svereal days to compelete the resurfacing of the main A47 through town.
The road was opened to traffic on Good Friday.
