The Met Office has issued an Amber Extreme Heat Warning until Tuesday. Even on the Suffolk coast, temperature could hit at least 30 Celsius - and for places such as Beccles, Halesworth and Bungay - a record breaking 35 to 38 Ceskius is possible.
Further incland there is a possibility of thethermometer hitting a sizzling 40 or 41 Celsius.
Some events over the weekend finshied early, as the heat on Sunday began to build. The Brampton Village Fair and Car Boot was suspened duirng Sunday morning because of the inceasing temperatures.
