Cyclist Seriously Injured After Collision Near Halesworth

    Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Holton.

    Officers were called to Bungay Road shortly before 7:20am this morning, Wednesday 30 April, following reports of a collision involving a car and a bicycle.

    Police, ambulance and East Anglian Air Ambulance were all in attendance to the incident.

    The cyclist, a man aged in his 20s, sustained serious injuries which are considered potentially life-threatening. He was initially taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital by land ambulance, before being airlifted to Addenbrookes’ Hospital for treatment. He remains in a critical condition.

    Bungay Road remained closed for collision investigation work.
