Police and National Highways attended the scene, and the road was closed for approximately two hours while the vehicle was recovered and the area made safe.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Drivers in the area experienced short-term disruption as recovery crews worked to remove the car and assess the damage to the road sign and roundabout.
