Police are appealing for help to identify and speak to a man in connection with an attempted robbery in Lowestoft. The incident took place just after 1.30pm on Monday 13th September on Waveney Crescent in Lowestoft - when the suspect, a man entered the Premier Express store and made a demand for money form the shop worker. He then produced a metal bar and hit the plastic screen and electronic till monitor, causing damage before leaving empty handed. The individual left the scene, it is believed, on foot, via the alleyway that leads through to the bottom of Kimberley Road near to the junction with Durban Road. No-one was hurt in the incident. Enquiries are on-going into the incident and anyone who recognises the man depicted in the CCTV images with the distinctive crash helmet or saw any suspicious activity at the time should contact Lowestoft police - or contact the independent charity,.
