A Lowestoft based disability advice service has been awarded £300,000 by the National Lottery.
Disability Advice Northeast Suffolk, also known as DANES, will receive the funding over the next five years from the lottery’s Reaching Communities Fund.
DANES provides impartial advice and support for anyone with a disability or long term health condition, helping people to maintain their independence and improve their overall well-being.
The money will be used for to introduce new activities and to hire an additional employee.
