A Halesworth fish and chip shop has been named among the top 40 contenders for Takeaway of the Year at the National Fish and Chip Awards.
Tulula’s Fish & Chips is the only Suffolk business on this year’s list, which features businesses from across the UK.
The businesses on the longlist have been assessed on areas including food quality, customer service, industry expertise and sustainable practices.
The National Fish and Chip Awards are now in their 39th year, with Takeaway of the Year one of 14 categories being contested.
The top 40 will now go through further assessment, with the list eventually reduced to 20 and then 10 businesses before the overall winner is announced at the awards ceremony in London in February.
