Planet Positive Event at Sparrows Nest Gardens

Our new climate friendly festival, Planet Positive, will be coming to Sparrows Nest Gardens on Saturday 20th September 2025, 11am-4pm.

The event will feature a diverse range of attractions and activities, including:
𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭: Browse stalls from local sustainable businesses, charities, and community groups, featuring eco-friendly products, plastic-free alternatives, and ethical goods.

𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬 & 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐬: Participate in free, hands-on workshops on topics such as composting, sewing and repairs, making eco-cleaning products, and gardening for pollinators. Experts will give short talks on local biodiversity and coastal conservation.

𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬’ 𝐄𝐜𝐨-𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞: Keep the little ones entertained with nature-themed crafts, storytelling, and interactive games about recycling and wildlife.

𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 & 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: Experience performances from local community musicians.
