Cambridge organist Jamie Robertson will perform his own arrangements of familiar film music on the church’s pipe organ. The programme includes The Lion King, Up, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wilde and Ennio Morricone’s Spaghetti Westerns, with short spoken introductions to the films and composers.
Jamie has performance experience at the Royal Hospital School in Suffolk, Norwich Cathedral and Trinity College, Cambridge. His July concert in Haverhill, Suffolk, raised funds for Caudwell Children, which supported him and his family when he was younger.
The Snape concert is organised by the Friends of Snape Church. Entry is by donation, refreshments will be available beforehand, and the performance is expected to last about one hour without an interval.
