Community Connections - Your Voice, Our Community

In East Suffolk, countless groups are dedicated to making a difference. East Suffolk One shines a spotlight on these organisations—tune in to hear their inspiring stories and learn about their impactful work.

We've connected with environmental champions, aid providers, and support networks across East Suffolk. If you're part of a group contributing to our community, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch, and let us share your story!

    • The River Waveney Trust is an environmental charity dedicated to improving and protecting the River Waveney, its tributaries and catchment, making it a better place for people and wildlife.

Meandering towards the sea past Suffolk’s market town’s such as Bungay and Beccles, the river eventually reaches Breydon Water at Great Yarmouth.

Proud to be part of the Rivers Trust movement, they are one of 60 local river trusts across the UK and Ireland.

Volunteers are essential to us, they run the charity on a day to day basis and carry out practical conservation work in the catchment. We have four local groups who meet regularly and manage sites along the river for all to enjoy.
