LionLink Energy Project Consultation in Saxmundham

People in Saxmundham are being invited to find out more about the LionLink project, with full statutory consultation documents now available locally.

Saxmundham Town Council is acting as a deposit location for the complete set of consultation papers. Copies can be viewed or collected from the Town House on Station Approach during normal weekday opening hours. The council says alternative appointments can be arranged for anyone unable to attend during the day.

As part of the consultation process, a public information exhibition is also being held in the town. The event will give residents the chance to see the proposals in more detail, ask questions and understand how to formally respond to the consultation.

The LionLink consultation is running for several weeks and is designed to gather feedback from local communities before any decisions are made. Town councillors say making the documents available locally is intended to ensure residents can easily access information and take part in the process.

Anyone who needs help accessing the documents or arranging a visit is encouraged to contact the Town Clerk directly. The council says it wants to make sure as many people as possible are able to engage with the consultation and have their say on proposals that could affect the local area.

Details on how to respond to the consultation are included within the documents and will also be explained at the public exhibition.

The LionLink public consultation is open until 10th March 2026 - and more details can be found here.
