A car has been left on its side following a two-vehicle crash in Lowestoft this afternoon (Tuesday 19th August).
Emergency services were called at around 2.15pm to London Road South, close to The Carlton pub, after the collision. Suffolk Police and ambulance service were called to the incident.
One vehicle sustained significant damage in the crash, with officers cordoning off a section of the road while emergency crews attended the scene.
It was not clear whether anyone has been seriously injured, with the incident causing local disruption and part of London Road South shut to traffic.
Police remained at the scene while recovery work continued, with the road now reopened.
