People in Bungay are being encouraged to recognise those who make a difference in the community by nominating them for this year’s Civic Awards.
Bungay Town Council is inviting nominations for individuals, groups and organisations who have shown outstanding service or long-term commitment to the town. This could include volunteering, organising local events, supporting vulnerable residents, youth work, environmental projects or other community contributions.
The council is asking residents to provide clear details about why their nominee deserves recognition, along with examples of their impact to support the judging process.
Nominations must be submitted by 15th April, with the awards set to be presented at the Bungay Town Meeting on 29th April at the Fisher Theatre. The event is free to attend and starts at 7pm.
There are several ways to nominate:
- Pick up a form from Bungay Library or Town Hall
- Submit an entry online via the Bungay Town Council website
- Request a form by emailing the council directly
The Civic Awards aim to celebrate the people who help make Bungay a stronger, more connected community.
