A man is reported to have been punched and left with a bruised face, during an incident of road rage in Beccles.
The incident took place on Thursday 20th May between 11.30am and 11.45am on Ellough Road in the town, when a 20-year-old man was punched.
The victim was driving a black Ford Fiesta and attempted to overtake a van but pulled back. The van then stopped and a passenger started to get out. The victim drove away, overtaking vehicles at a roundabout in the process.
However, the victim then stopped at traffic lights and the van again stopped and the passenger exited the vehicle. The offender is then alleged to have kicked the wing mirror of the Ford Fiesta, before grabbing and punching the victim through an open window, leaving the victim with bruising to their face.
The man is described as white, aged between 25 and 30-years-old. He was of a broad build, had tattoos on his arm and had short hair and a beard. The vehicle is believed to be an Iveco van.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the two vehicles driving in the area at the time or has knowledge of the incident and who committed it should contact Suffolk police.
