Two quad bikes have been seized and two riders arrested following reports of motorbikes being ridden in the Hollingsworth Road area of Lowestoft.
Officers from RIT 4 and CPT 2, supported by the Roads and Armed Policing Team (RAPT), attended the area on Sunday afternoon (1st November) as part of Operation Wraxhall.
Both riders were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving offences and taken to custody at Great Yarmouth.
Police say one of the riders was also found in possession of a bladed article, while the other was wanted in connection with a theft offence. Both quad bikes were seized.
Suffolk Police thanked members of the public who have reported concerns and provided information about the vehicles, saying this helps officers take action.
The force says it is continuing to work with partners, including East Suffolk Council, to address anti-social behaviour involving motorbikes in Lowestoft. This includes engaging with tenants where there may have been tenancy breaches and pursuing civil orders where appropriate to help prevent further offending.
Police say not all of this work is publicised, but efforts to tackle the issue are continuing.
