Bakers, growers and craft makers are being invited to take part in a brand new weekly Produce and Makers Market in Lowestoft.
Lowestoft Town Council is launching the new market at the historic Triangle Market, as part of wider investment in the town centre.
Lowestoft, Suffolk’s second largest town with a population of more than 70,000, is seeing significant regeneration work in the Triangle area, alongside the ongoing transformation of Lowestoft Town Hall.
The council says the project aims to build a thriving new community hub in the heart of the town and is encouraging local producers and makers to get involved at an early stage.
Organisers are particularly keen to hear from those who grow fresh produce, bake goods or create unique handmade crafts.
They say this is an opportunity to trade in a revitalised part of town and help shape a new regular market for residents and visitors alike.
Anyone interested in taking part is being asked to contact the town council for further details here.
