‘Gull Wing’ Crossing Set for Lowestoft Skyline

​County Councillors here in Suffolk have given the final ‘green light’ for Lowestoft’s Third Crossing over Lake Lothing.

The decision follows the  recent unveiling of the town’s ‘Masterplan’ ambitions - as well as investments to protect businesses and residents from flooding for 100 years,

Meanwhile, a panel of representatives from the local councils, local organisations and the town council, led by MP, Peter Aldous, unanimously agreed that Gull Wing would become the new bridge’s name.
