A Lowestoft school has been told by Public Health England that there have been two confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The Northfield St. Nicholas Primary Academy, on St Margaret's Road has confirmed that, in line with the national guidance, all children in Year 6 and Year 2 must now stay at home.
Children in these years now have to self-isolate until Thursday 16th October, as they have been in close contact with the affected children.
Meanwhile, Years 1, 3, 4 and 6 are expected to keep attending school, unless they have any symptoms.
